Sandra Bētiņa - Tūna

Works as a dentist since 1983. A graduate from Riga Medical Institute, she has worked in sports medicine afterwards, treating the sportsmen of major Latvian teams and ballet dancers.  Private practice since 1992. Originally has worked alone with a single assistant; now the practice has expanded to four dentists, a dental hygienist and assistants.  After 1990, has several times improved her knowledge in private clinics of Sweden, Denmark, Germany and the U.K. Particular specialization in prosthodontics. In 1999 has attended the International Dentistry show in Cologne, Germany, and the annual congress held by German dentists.  Meeting with Australian dentists and dental technicians March, 2000, in Perth.

 
Ingrīda Krasta

A skillful professional, she is very interested in the latest achievements in dentistry. Works as a general practitioner and also teaches students the Stradina University operative dentistry, endodontics. Particularly specialized in treatment of diseased gum tissues. Since 1999 she is a candidate for a doctor’s degree, carries out a scientific work researching diseases of gum tissues.
In 1999 attended the International Dentistry show in Cologne, Germany, and the annual congress held by German dentists.

Rudīte Āboliņa

Works as a dentist since 1983 after graduating from Riga Medical Institute.
Since 1993 works in private clinics.
Has added to her knowledge attending various classes and workshops. Experience of private clinics in Sweden.
Efficient and skillful general practitioner.

 

 Gundega Jakobsone

MOrthodRCSEd
Graduated with honors from the Medical Academy of Latvia in 1995. In 1998 graduated from the postgraduate studies in oral surgery. Her particular interest in orthodontics started when she joined the team for treating orthognathic patients in 1997.Since that she is in charge of the management and treatment planning for the orthognathic surgery patients in AML Stomatology Institute.
Presently she works as a clinical supervisor for students and an orthodontist in the Department of Orthodontics Stomatology Institute. Also she is working on her PhD thesis and is a candidate for the doctor’s degree in orthodontics. On the regular basis she participates in seminars and courses in Latvia and abroad (Norway, Wales, Germany).

Jūlija Savova

 In 1995 started work as a dental assistant. In 1998 graduated from the School of Dental Hygienists at Latvian Medical Academy. Still works as a hygienist at the Institute of Dentistry and in a private clinic.
Willingly improves her knowledge attending classes and workshops.
Participates in a research project provided by the WHO (World Health Organization) - on prevention of carries in the Latvian kindergartens since 1997 until today.
